Emily grew up in Holmdel, New Jersey before going to Notre Dame for undergrad where she graduated with a BBA in finance and economics with a minor in constitutional studies in 2016. She worked in finance for three years at Synchrony, where she met Melissa. In 2019, Emily went to Seton Hall University School of Law to pursue her JD. She graduated in 2022 and currently works as an attorney in New York City.
